Amit Anand Amit is a visionary technology leader. As the CTO of Treefort Technologies, the premier Canadian identity verification technology company, he is passionate about building technology that can effect positive change. With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, he has left an indelible mark on the technology landscape in Edmonton. Besides his work with Treefort, Amit is an innovator and entrepreneur. He is the Founder of Ez enRoute, an AI IOT SAAS based company focused on school transportation and other innovative IOT solutions. He also owns a software consulting company, A+ IT Solutions. Amit is an outstanding example of how Canada has benefitted from immigration, having come to Canada with nothing at the age of 17 and went on to graduate from computing science at NAIT and then obtained his MBA at Athabasca University. Besides his love for technology, Amit is an avid Cricket player, where he recently represented Canada at the International Cricket World Senior Championships in South Africa. He also has a history of giving back having sat on several boards including the NAIT Program Advisory Board. Amit embodies the spirit of innovation, resilience, and collaboration and is passionate about making a difference.
